Tuesday, the standalone streaming service, HBO NOW (NYSE: TWX) became available to Verizon Broadband customers and soon will launch for wireless subscribers. According to USA Today, Verizon (NYSE: VZ) FiOS or high-speed internet customers have a 30-day free trial of the service, but after it will cost $14.99 a month. Along with broadband users, Verizon will be able to sell HBO Now to wireless users. HBO Now launched in April and is currently available on Apple TV and devices, Android smartphones and tablet, Amazon tablet, and for Optimum online customer in New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut.
