The third season of Netflix’s (NASDAQ: NFLX) beloved original series, “Orange is the New Black”, was released to the site early and fans of the series immediately started watching to find out what lies ahead for the women of Litchfield Correctional Facilities. According to Variety, the season was scheduled to release Friday at midnight, but was instead was released six hours earlier at 6 p.m. PST on Thursday The news of the earlier release was announced during OrangeCo, an invitation-only fan event held in New York that included appearances and cast panel with some of the stars of the show including Uzo Aduba, Taylor Schilling, Laura Prepon, Laverne Cox, and more.
