German sportswear brand, Adidas (XETRA: ADS), recently partnered with Parley of the Oceans, an organization whose mission is to end ocean pollution worldwide, to create a sustainable shoe made completely out of recycled garbage from the ocean. According to the Huffington Post, a spokeswoman from Adidas commented that the prototype is not for sale and she is unsure whether it would be in the near future. “This is not a plan, this is an action,” she states. “We did this to show what we are capable of doing when we all put our heads together.
